Altec 511B horn compared to the GPA MR931

Veellllyy intelllessstink!
I dampened the 511b with sand bags and some foam pipe insulation:
Using the DE250 again with MR931 (Blue), 811 (Red), 511 (Grn)

Now the resonance of the 811b is standing out. Cool! I'm learning a lot here as I go.

Nice work, thanks. The 811 looks very nice, except for the little dip circa 1900Hz.
I may ask you for the HOLM zip file, for a closer look.

I think we are all feeling ancient these days Mike ! How the heck are you ? I used to really enjoy your schematics and response curves…
It has been way too long my friend ! I lost a lot of the stuff i had posted on photobucket where i had most of my pictures but when they were forcing everyone to buy their service.. I boycotted them my way of sticking up the middle finger to them !

I don’t like being forced into doing anything i don’t agree with so i found another free hosting picture site (flickr) .. Good to hear from you again !
